Does my Steve Morse use a battery??

I received my guitar last week, and inside the case was a sheet with instructions for changing the battery. Obviously, the Morse doesn't have active pickups, so I figured someone at the EB factory included the instruction sheet by mistake, so I tossed it.

Yesterday I was reading the F.A.Q.'s, and I saw that some EBMM guitars have the "silent circuit" to cut single-coil hum. Does the Morse model have this circuit? If so, where is the battery compartment?

thanks in advance.

If it had a battery it would be on the backside of the guitar and it would be a small rectangular black cover.
