When I stumbled in on the news after work, they had said it was a 6.5, but in a "sparsely populated" area, (that 2.3 may have been after the carry from the BIG epicenter, or an aftershock) and rockslides brought power down in the SLO area. (source: CNN)

Numbers or not, my thoughts still the same...you guys cool over there? If SLO has no power, you probably won't get this now. Just let us know when you can, cool?

Hang in there, guys.

Open mouth Insert foot.

You are right, of course. I was looking at the wrong quake.

I felt the The 6.5 quake up here in SF and we're a lot farther away. Three people were killed, I hope that's the end of it.

My thoughts go out to all affected, be safe.

No worries, man...I cheated by looking at the news in another window. I'm not out to prove anyone wrong, just wanted to clarify (and make sure that I didn't hear half the story!). :)

Jongitarz just posted, as you can see, so I'd assume that that would mean that everything should check out fine for our peeps there in SLO. Good to hear that ya'll are in one piece!

Please take a moment, if you would, to pray for all of those affected. Thanks.

Thanks for your concern Darrell...Our customers are the best! We didn't want to go home today, but the company wanted us to be safe, and who knows when the next aftershock will happen(they still are!) Thanks again! Jon

FYI.....165 aftershocks so far!
Woah! We got a little more snow today, so I had to clean the drive, but the ground did not move! (for which I'm eternally grateful!!) You guys may have sun and sand in the winter, but I'll take the cold frozen solid not-trembling-at-all ground around my place any day ;) Hoping all of you and yours are safe...

Also glad eb folks are okay. Quakes suck. I've been within 30 miles of 5 major ones in my lifetime and they always feel like they shake for over a minute. And leave me shaking the rest of the day.

Did the factory suffer much or any damage. What about merchandise. Pill bottles, cans and things I can get used to falling off shelves. Not guitars and basses.
