I am a die-hard EB Regular Slinky fan for my electrics, and I won't use anything else. However, I am interested in EB's for my acoustic. I tried a set of the acoustic slinky's awhile back, and I liked them at first, but they seemed to go bad really fast - faster than any other string I've tried. After about two weeks, they were dead, and felt like they were 100 years old. Perhaps I simply got a set that was bad, and had been sitting on the shelf for a long time. I am thinking of trying the Earthwoods, as I prefer the 80/20's on my Martin D-15.
So...anyone use EB's full time on their acoustics, thoughts, etc?
