EB.COM Flashback

Been working hard on subtle things with the website that no one will notice except for search engine spiders. (Yay fun) I guess it wouldn't say working too hard. When I work too hard I need to release stress. That leads to a trip to a bar (Bull's Tavern) after work and I find out that not only has happy hour been over for hours but the bar is closing.

Anyway in my websurfing travels and googling I stumbled upon the fact that 6 days ago ernieball.com turned 11 years old.

The Archive is missing some stuff but it is interesting to see how the website has progressed over the last decade.

I was actually coming on here to post that i just noticed the kooky little "EB" that now resides in the nav bar and my Bookmarks toolbar... not sure if it is new or if I've just happened to look up from all the pretty pictures and pearls of wisdom from the Dude and BP

I found that little EB icon the other day while I was going through directories trying to figure out which directories the web spiders should or shouldn't scan.

All things considered, that was a VERY good site for 1996!

That was the year I started working for the company, in the machine shop making volume pedal bodies etc. I had a computer that was passed down from a couple of family members. Jan Michael Vincent had more memory than that computer, but I loved checking out our website (even though it took 3 or 4 hours for that computer to load a page!) We've come a long way baby!
