EBAY piezo sterling SCAM

how can u tell? yes it has string mutes, but thats not where music man puts their peizo, they usualy put the peizo on the sadals them selvs (i dont know if sadals are the right term, but the part of the bridge were the string rests or makes contact)

but i could be wrong, i dont know much about peizo. but from pictures i've seen, i belive this is right

I think it's possible he's just noticed the bridge is different than on standard Sterlings and just assumed that his must therefore be a piezo bridge.

I'm with you. If it was a scam, the seller would have "conveniently" left out the general view of the bridge. I think it's more a case of his/her not knowing the difference.

The bridge appears to be a transitional bridge from the circa 1994-1996 period when EB began deleting the mute assembly. The bridge remained the same size before it was down sized as per current bridge. Hex bolts were inserted in the holes previously occupied by the thumb screws. Perhaps the seller presumed the bolts were a piezo setup???

There's certainly enough evidence around that the term "Piezo Bridge" causes confusion.

It's a really nice-looking bass.
