I'm curious so I've decided to do a poll to see how many JP owners out there still have their stock Dimarzio Crunchlab and Liquifire pickups or who have swapped them or those who have thought about it and would like to swap them out in the future.

If you've swapped them what did you swap them for? How hard was it?

Stock here as well. The bridge gets heavy as hell while staying tight and the neck pu sings with so much clarity, I don't have any reason to change them.

+1. I don't see myself ever changing the CL and LF in my JP. They are amazing sounding pups. I like them so much I put a pair of them in my Ibanez Petrucci. Only pickups I've heard that equal them are the pups in the original JP guitars when he first came over to MM. Those were some mighty fine pups too. I will say that the pickups in my Peavey Wolfgang are incredible and I'm wondering how similar they are to the pickups in the Axis and Axis Super Sport? I'm assuming they are quite similar.
 
In one guitar, I've swapped them for a different color LF/CL set. All other JP's that I've owned, I kept them stock.

I have a few jp's, all stock except 1, I swapped for Air Classic/AT-1 chrome tops.
 
Couldn't stand the D-Sonic in my 2007 JP, but absolutely loved the neck pickup. Swapped the bridge, kept the neck. Love the new bridge. I REEEEALY wanna play a JP13 though. The illuminator bridge might do it for me- I have the stock CrunchLab in my JP7. It's better than the D-Sonic to my ears, but if I get my hands on a 13, I might pop an Illuminator in it.
 
CL/LF are awesome but I did swap them for some bare knuckles in my JPX7. I quite like them! For most applications though the CL/LF are excellent.
 
Not touching the jp6 le2008 (perfection)!
But I'm still alittle undecided on the jp7!
Being a bigger, heavier guitar, the Crunch Lab sounds huge in the 7!
I love how much more it sustains and performs compared, but then you get to the B string, and it starts to get alittle muddy and untidy!
I will try a few heavier gauge B strings first because I'm in love with how the Crunch Lab performs in the jp7.
But.....I've heard Bare Knuckle produce a very similar sounding pickup, whilst tighting up the lows and resolving this issue!
Hard to fault this DiMarzio package though :)

I like how the DiMarzio CL/LF pickups sound on the guitar. No plans to change it.
