EBMM Maple fretboard-one piece?

It looks to me as though the fretboard and neck are made from one piece of maple. Now, is it one piece that is "split" and routed for the trussrod and the fretboard glued back on or is it actually just one piece?

edit, this is regarding a SR5, dob 04.12.06
 
I did ask the same question about mine a while ago, and BP said they were two pieces....must admit the join is really really hard to see.....just goes to show the art of the craftsman.:)

It's one Piece of wood where the fret board is cut from the same piece so when it's clued back on the grain matches and it's very hard to tell where the 2 pieces meet.

which would explain why the seam is so hard to spot and it looks like one piece....sweet work!!!:eek:

You bet, right now I'm in the middle of doing a complete remodel on a New house I just bought so it won't be for a while, but thanks for Asking.

yeah, pretty damn near impossible to see, even with my reading glasses on, even in bright sunlight. looks just like a single log to me...
