EBMM necks

I just received my Albert Lee one week ago and I'm alreading thinking about ordering a AL with P90's. But before I do is there another MM guitar that has a similar neck as the AL? Thanks!

I ordered it in late Nov. and it arrived last Friday Jan 30th. Well worth the wait. They are truly great guitars! I hope you get one too!!

The Al has its own profile. The neck pocket will accept a Silhouette Special neck but they both have a different feel.

Try a Silhouette Special is a very underrated guitar. There will be a review on the guitar coming up in Vintage Guitar magazine.

Cool! Not as much of a wait as I thought. My dealer told me last year there was about a 6-9 month wait on orders, but then again, I wasn't asking about anything in specific. I was just admiring a new Axis that had come in and he said that's how long it took them to get it in.

I haven't sent my taxes in yet, but hopefully they'll go out next week. Once my refund is in hand, I'm more than likely gonna go ahead and order one. I badly want one of these(AL) guitars!

btw, what color did you get?

Mine is blue pearl non trem no painted headstock. Fantastic feel and tone. I must say I really like the color of tvanveen's AL with the P90's. I'm not much on the painted headstock but his looks right. I like the trans blue and the trans red but my wife liked the blue pearl better so you see who won. Have fun picking the right one for you!

I'm kind of inbetween transparent Gold and Orange. I repsond to the 'warm' colors, if that makes any sense. I too like the natural headstock over the matching. I like the looks of wood.

Me too. Trans gold looks good. I saw one once up close and it does look nice. I'm thinking about the vintage burst with painted head stock next. I like the plain head stock better but if I get another one I'd like for it to be at least alittle different.
