So those of you who use EBMM at your church, what model do you use? and do you feel that particular model to best suit your style of worship songs/playing?

I've found the JP middle position the best for cleans when played against all positions on an Axis Super Sport and a y2d. The JP is just more compatible with the amp I have, IMHO. The Axis pickups and y2d pickups are a bit too hot for it. I switch to the neck pickup on the JP for any leads.

Oh, the amp is an el-cheapo solid-state combo, Ventura Vintage 60R... the slightly bigger brother of this amp http://www.dubaldomusic.com/Amps/Vent50.htm

My EVH is one of the guitars I use and it does very well. I play for Sr. High youth so it's a bit more rockin'. But I find there's almost nothing the EVH/Axis can't cover satisfactorily with judicious use of effects, volume pot and an occasional eq pedal.

Hopefully I can mix it up with both my soon to arrive Albert Lee and Bourgeois Slope D. Would love if the A.L. came with a piezo (Fishman) but its a very early model when they weren't available and I'm not sure I would dare to alter it. If I win the lottery Friday then Music Man will be getting a call for a custom order on Monday (after tithing...).

the guitar player from one of the most known Worship bands in Poland uses a beautiful Silhouette Special in candy red (yummy!), I think those scooped single coils sound great for that funky-gospel clean parts

I think some one is coveting.
Your just going to have to pray harder than that. I gave thanks this morning that I enjoy playing so much so there.

Ok, so I hear the term "Worship" or "Praise" music a lot. Other than the obvious content, does it denote a particular style? Or can any kind of music (hard/soft/heavy/mellow) fall into this category?

(Cut me some slack. I'm Jewish.)

Hey, I need all of you guys to pray that I get better...lol.

I did some church music using my JP6 with my Vetta II on a clean channel mostly and then we would get some "rock" type which I used minimal distortion.

I think most common when played with a full band and a choir is pop/funky/rock-ish style, at least where I play it's most common

Let me be more specific.

Modern Christian music, Group such as Chris Tomblin, David Crowder, Mercy me, and so on.

I agree that piezo is a good thing due to it's acoustic sound, and therefore my next EBMM definetly be with piezo.
