Ernie Ball VP Jr 250K Volume Pedal not working

The Pedal works at times but it randomly dims down and no audio goes through no matter the position. I've tried multiple amps and pedalboards in order to isolate the problem to the pedal itself. It currently sits after a Keeley Compressor, JHS Morning Glory V4, and an Emerson EM-Drive, but before a Strymon timeline and Bigsky. I'm fairly new to pedals so this could completely be a User error but I could really use this pedal by Sunday. Any Ideas!?!??!

Are you sure it's the pedal and not one of the cables? When you say "dims down", I wonder if something is shorting to ground- that's most likely to be a bad cable.

The pedal is basically a 250k pot. Do you have a multimeter? You could measure the resistance through the input/output and watch it for a while.
