Hi folks,

I was wondering what you think about the EVH hardtail in comparison with the floyd version.
I own an Axis SS myself so I can imagine what a great guitar it is.
I'm more interested in collector value, image and so on.
Do you consider it a real EVH or not, since I don't know if anyone has ever seen him playing a hardtail?
Or is it even more special than the floyd version because there are less of them?

Thoughts anyone?

Well the hardtails were made in limited amounts. It has been stated on the forum that 200 were made in Red, amber and purple? (somebody help me out here).
I got mine because it came up at the right time and I don't like floyds.

I gig mine ocassionally, but try to keep it in good condition as I see it as an investment too.

I want one because there were so few made. It would complete my collection. If you're into collecting, I'd say it's a collectors "must have".

got one that I tried to sold changed my mine since then. The EVH is even more resonant that the 25th with the hollow body, but I think that's due to it's age

Great guitar! not sure about the resale value in 10 years but you will never know, I love mine!
