I know this seems to be the most common question here, but here it goes yet again.

I just found this evening a near mint condition red quilt EVH at a local music store. I have been looking for an EVH for a while and with prices at somewhat of a low point I thought it would be a good time to really hunt one down and low a behold I found one. Asking price is $1450 w/ohsc and the serial is 84165. Just trying to figure out the year. I searched here but didn't seen to come across any serial #'s starting w/ 84. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jason
 
Thanks Derek! The odd thing is that it is not pink, it's definitely red. I'm going to pick it up tonight so I will double check the serial #.
 
Yep, just what I thought. I was off by a digit, 84164. To add icing to my excitement, the salesman forgot about the stuff that was in the case, not there when I first looked at it. So I got all the tools, extra springs, EB polish cloth, and original paperwork on top of a seriously nice condition guitar. I'm so happy to finally have a EVH and be back in the EB family. Now, once my funds have recouped I'll be on the hunt for a EVH hardtail. :D
