well I made these because some combos I could not find, and the black cherry burst is the one I am gravitating towards.Spud, can you tell me if the photo is a true example of this color...looks kinda dark to me. Like, almost black with a hint of cherry?

My White sparkle started life like with black MM90 pup covers. Then when I sent it back for fret sprout, I asked if they could change them to white. Jon did an awesome job and I think that it looks much better with the white pup covers.

It is a little bit lighter than the photo. You can certainly see more of the cherry on the back of the guitar. Dont be put off by the first photo in the "photo thread" because it is lighter than that photo.

I do like the black one amongst your photos also I personally like the Honey Burst and that was the colour I initially going to get.

It's a real bummer isn't it when you can't see an example (in real life) of the guitar that you want.

well Im still agonising over , either cherry b. or the honey b., all white is nice but kinda boring.
Would like something with a bit more life in it. Trans red looks nice on some photos and then it looks loke furniture in som pix Ive seen.

It's a real bummer isn't it when you can't see an example (in real life) of the guitar that you want.

None of the pics do these guitars justice. Its a combination of MMs high level of detail and finish, and the fact that guitars are really cool things in real life. I would pick a colour you like and then realize it will be that much better once you have it in your hands!!

Yeah the honeyburst is a real nice finish and will show more of the wood grain than the Black Cherry burst. Decisions, decisions.
