Faded pickup selector switch on JP6

Probably a simple question...

My JP's pickup selector switch looks as if the chrome is coming off or is fading.

What can rectify this? Chrome polish?

It definitely happens, it'd probably be easier to swap the switch than polish it up I'd say. There's no way to really polish it back with achieving the original luster, best way to maintain it is really just to wipe it down properly everytime. I use a VERY nice fine micro-fibre cloth and it keeps things in fantastic condition.
