Question Fading Music Man logo on JP6 headstock

This is a 2004 mystic dream JP6, and the headstock logo is fading. The John Petrucci signature is almost invisible:

Is this a normal thing with older units?

Strange. As with most things out of the ordinary, I'd drop the CS guys an email on Monday and get their opinion. (Maybe they'll send John to your house to sign it.)

I think that the gold logo on my '06 LEAL is fading a bit too, but not as much as yours.

I'm not losing any sleep over it as it's heritage is in no doubt with a faded logo.

It won't affect it's value.

John's sig faded on mine too. Didn't bother me at all tho as it didn't affect the playability
