Good buy for the money but you still need a guitar.

I didn't have money for both, so I decided to get the amp first, and the guitar later.

She sounds really good.

I've heard the ValveKings really shine when you invest a little more money in some hotter tubes and a better speaker like a Celestion Vintage 30 or an Eminence Governor.

I'm considering one myself...

Congrats on your new amp! I've never played the Valveking, but I'm a Peavey guy. They make great amps, & are a great value. I like the enclosure for the output tubes. Too many tube combos leave the tubes exposed.

Now save up your $$ & get yourself an EBMM guitar!!! ;)

Nice little amp... I too have heard good comments about them - Peavey can work up some great amps when they want to... I second the guitar thing, tho' ;)

I've looked at those. the Class A to A/B voicing change looks neat. Please post real world review for us. Sounded really good the 15 minutes I spent with one in a crowded music store, but I didn't really get to give it a good workout

Nice buy, Peavey make excellent amps, l'm on the market for a JSX myself, l tried the Valveking 100watt 2x12, it was a nice amp, but l prefered the JSX.

Enjoy,

Scott.

The european Versions are made in China. Look at the price.
And it is no real class voice change , they simulate it. But it sound very good.
We sold a lot of them here.

Thanks everyone.

BTW You can't just compare the JSX to the ValveKing. The JSX costs 2 times as much. And it's USA made.
