Question Finger Ease on EBMM Ebony fretboard?

Is there an "official" position as to whether or not it will damage my ebony fretboard?

A buddy of mine used to use finger ease until he began using Elixir Nano strings. Never looked back. I now have Elixirs on all my guitars and love them. No potential fretboard damage issues, either.

I don't know about official word, but I use that on my JPX and have for the last two years. No problems with the wood at all.. It still looks great... if not new!. I will say that I do take care of the fretboard every string change so that might help.

I use fingerease all the time - have for many years. However I DO NOT spray it directly on the fingerboard. I spray it on a lint free cloth and wipe under/over the strings to clean them and apply a light amount of lubricant if needed

"Liked" on FB… I'm in central ohio quite a bit for work. Want to see all of these MM's with the Mesa stuff.

No issues here. Been using it on my jem7vwh with ebony fingerboard since 2001. Also on my JPXI with ebony board.

I also use the EB fretboard conditioner wipes regularly on both.
