So ya. That one eBay auction for an SR (which went for real cheap BTW!) gave me this idear:

Not bad, not bad. I have the Bongo 4 HH pickguard contour scanned into my comp. so I can just make some graphics in the future and print it out for more zany clear pickguard madness!

My trusty watchdog "Mugga" has one :D

Never heard of it for instruments. Good idea though. What's the deal?
I don't have one but the most common place is to put them in under the strap screw. the police have a scanner to identify the owner. I've never had an instrument stolen but I've had several beta 58s stolen at gigs. that hurts.

Yuck. Now I know this is the EB forum, but, IMO, that just does not look good. With so many other PG's to choose from.....nope, don't like it. I think it takes away from the Bongo, does nothing to enhance the uniqueness of that instrument. No flaming please, just MHO.

Fulda: It's all good! Different strokes for different folks, eh? :)

Tiffles: Just give me the details and I'll make one!
