first gig with my new Luke

the Luke I scored a couple of weeks ago is making its first debut in public tonight...although, we'll be lucky if 75 people come through the door all night. Anyway...I am very excited! The Luke has become my favorite guitar pretty quickly. I can't believe it took me 20 years of playing to find a guitar quite as comfortable.

Good luck and hope all goes well. It doesn't matter if only one person shows, not everyone has the talent or nerve to get on stage and do what they love.

the gig went better than expected. no oohs or ahhh, except on my part. I ended up playing it for the first three sets, and only used my roland-ready strat for the last set...and only because I pushed all the songs I use midi for until the last set.

I need to start thinking about a midi pickup for the Luke...seriously.
