Flats with a bit of "zing"

I want to get some flatwound strings as I like not having any finger noise. I've tried some other makes and they have met that requirement, but have been beyond dull. I did try some unknown flats on a fretless in a shop that did have some sparkle, but the guy didn't know what it was loaded with.

What are EB flats like? Do they have a bit of zing / sparkle? I'm not expecting rounds tone - just a bit of clarity really.
