If you loosened your springs to float the bridge, you will probably notice out of tune notes when bending (bending one string while fretting another). Your action shouldn't be affected much, it might be slightly raised.
Keep in mind, when you break a string w/ a floating trem, every other string will go out of tune. So, change your strings often!! (preferably w/ EB Slinkys)
As far as tuning stability, I don't think you should notice too much of a difference. Do the SUBs come w/ locking tuners?
