Fogerty Sporting some MMs

Watched a John Fogerty concert on TV last night. He used a blue Axis and metallic red Petrucci pretty heavily. I see now that he's a MM artist, and also that he plays one of everything. But it was kinda interesting to see the CCR hits played on MM "shred" guitars.

Beautiful and tonally enticing, but I'm with ya, Tim. The neck is "finished", and very thin. I just can't bond with it.

Yep superb guitars but on this model not finished, GS and Oil But the thin neck kills me as well

Always great to see a legend like Mr. Fogerty exposing their love for EBMM! He's been seen with quite a few Musicman guitars over the years, the JP really is an interesting choice given the musical style he's at home with. Didn't he swap out the pickups...the topic has been discussed before but I can't remember at the moment.

I loved my JP6 - but did suffer "cramping problems" with the neck.

An offer to buy it from me came at the right time (and the right ammount for both of us) so I sold it.

My neck was oil and wax too as I believe is "stock" on theJP6 MD.
