Fogman,

Since you are a self-confessed EBMM pic stalker, I need to ask a favor. I am just about to order an Albert and was wondering if you could email me some pics of the A.L. in different colors. I am undecided on which color to choose and was hoping that some actual pics of a variety of A.L. models can help me make a better decision.

Thanks for the time & assistance,

PugNinjas

Glenn,

I have decided on the following set-up for my soon-to-be-ordered AL

3 mm90's
Trem
Piezo
non-matching headstock

I was originally really in love with Rolls Burgundy but after looking at some pics in other posts I really didn't like how dark it was of a color.

As for other colors, I have looked at the color options available and basically have elimated nothing, I figured the Fogman, the EBMM JPEG dealer, could show me a bunch of them and that will help me out.

I also didn't want to fill up another thread with pics just for my personal needs, although I'm sure no one here would really be too upset.

Are you looking for just solid colours? burst? trans?
Give me some more details. It's impossible to email you all of the AL pics.

Fog,

Yeah, I guess my original request was kind of vague considering the amount of pictures you have....

Anyways, If you have any of the following pics...

Tobacco burst
Cherry burst
honey burst

desert gold
lava pearl

After seeing Spud's amazing Black Cherry Burst AL I wanted to see some of the other colors.

I truly appreciate the time and effort :)

Thanks,

Rich

Here you go!
The trend with Als seems to be Trans or Burst finishes mostly.
The solid colour seem to favour white, black and the blues.

Sorry no Gold or Lava Pearl. I'd love to see the lava myself.

I guess everyone has given up on trying to help Foggy, now we're turning to him for help! What's next? Big Poppa asking NorM for advice on designing the 20th anniv Silo.;) (I guess something should be written here in white but I don't know how to do that:) )

Fogman,

You are the man, thanks for the pics. I wonder what Lava Pearl would look like too.....

One quick question regarding the AL that appears directly above the yellow one....

Is that Cherry Burst?

Thanks again,

Rich

I don't know exactly, but my guess would be Honeyburst.
Cherry usually has more red in it.

You don't see too many Lava Pearl instruments, but AL too boot. I've seen a lot of JP's and basses for the most part.

Maybe after NAMM the Music Man site will be updated with the new hot instrument pictures that they were working on. ;)

Actually what I am doing is finding out what jonguitarz wants on the 20th anniv silo. Then I pass that on to Beth who runs it past Aziah. Then Aziah gives the code monkey a banana to put a subliminal flash inside a PM that gets sent to Dudley. Then Dudley tells BP what to do. Trouble is Dudley never reads his PMs.

Fogman,

Thanks again, the pics are a big help

HoneyBurst does look delicious.....

Spud, your choice is just as delicious, perhaps your next AL could be HoneyBurst:D

I still have a few days to decide.

I was looking at the color chart on the site and it looks as if the Radiance Red and Lava Pearl are really similiar.

I also like Albert's guitar from the recent gig, could that be candy red or radiance red?

I would love a honeyburst with trem and piezo - but my wife would probably say that I have too many guitars!! - not enough I say !!

I'll look out for one in a couple of years time - it took me long enough to save up for this one - without the wife knowing;)
