Hello!

So I've visited the Ottawa L&M on saturday and they had a beautiful silo for sale. The color seemed to be carbon blue pearl but I'm not 100% sure of that... You might want to give them a call

Here's the scoop!
He wasn't sure on the colour since his computer description was in code.
He described it as dark blue which tells me carbon blue pearl.
It's a Silhouette and not the Special which is what I want +1 :)
Carbon Blue Pearl (one of the 2 colours that I like) +1 :)
Black Ice pick guard. Nice +1 (could always change it if I didn't like it) :rolleyes:
All maple fretboard with non-matching headstock +1 :)
Really good price +1 (The guitar was tagged with a price in late January, so how many people have played it?)
Doesn't have piezo :cool:

I'm gonna give this one some hard thoughts.
So do I give up the idea of the piezo or wait?? Hmmmm :confused:

Foggy, if it's what you want, get it. Save the Piezo for your next EBMM.

Having a non-piezo guitar isn't the end of the world.

Foggy I'd highly consider to buy the axe... Piezo is a great option but you have 3 pickups and 5 position switch, so you really have a lot of sounds out of one axe. For example Pet has only 3-way switch so obiously a piezo is a must for that axe IMO.

Also are you considering buying an acoustic amp? if you're planning to put piezo through your amp it won't sound too good I think.

so all in all I will say that one last time.

Let him make up his own mind people. I mean it has taken FOREVER anyway, so what's the hurry at this point. I think you should just order one from EB so they can make it for YOU specifically. I believe in you Fogger :D !!! I dunno, I personally dont have a craving for piezo right now anyway. I got my Silo without one and I get nice cleans with it ANYWAY. But whatever, everyone has their own specs, so listen to your heart and DO IT ALREADY!!! :p
See, my only concern right now is, do you have an amp to play through??? I dont know if you said anything about that, but that would be funny if you went through the same thing with an amp! hahahaha
 
I would have to find a pretty cool silo to get without a piezo. I really like mine.
