Hi Jon,

i'm the proud owner of a new Music man Luke II (rolls burgundy) and i would need some help ... for the setting of the guitar.
I've brought my guitar to my tech for a setting two times,but i never really find anymore the "feel" of it when it comes directly out of the factory ...I would love to have my luke set with the original "factory" setup again ... ;)

So Jon,would you be kind enough and give a maximum of informations and details,values on the "factory" luke II setting ? truss rod,height of strings,trem .... to be able to my guitar tech to do this work perfectly again.

Have a go at setting it up yourself, this way you can tweak until it feels right for you. And its much cheaper!
 
Thats one fine looking instrument raginghonkies76, how do you find the Custom Audio Electronics head? l was thinking of picking one up.

it's the best amp i've ever head ! and i've played alot of brands ... it's so versatile ! And high gain on channel two with boost !!! And the clean is AWESOME !!! from cristal "fender" at high volumes to all crunch ... The channel Two sings all night ... With some little effects and the Luke guitar,it's real "hifi" kind of lukather/landau sounds ... the best combination i've ever had and a very compact system ... not bunchs of racks to take out ;-)

Jon !!! can you please help me out ?
 
On the Ernie Ball website, look for the Music Man Guitars FAQ; that contains some very useful information on setup.
 
rh76 ~ Looking at those pics it's clear you don't settle for second best! CAE and a G-System too! Very nice rig!!
 
What version OD 100 is that? Looks great.

The CAE 2x12 is great, mine gets played & played every week. My fav cab.

ps: Solid saddles on a Luke? Are those factory?

To be honest if you can get a metal rule that gives metric and imperial measurements you'll be better off. If you want the conversions post them and I'll convert them for you. You'll understand when I post the conversions to mm why I suggest staying with inches.
