Hi Jon quick question

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7396137771&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1

a customer of mine just bought that guitar and asked me if it would be possible to install the new vintage EBMM trem on it. It´s now a Rockinger St*** trem
(he´s fender free) and it was originally equipped with a Wilkinson.

Is the Trem as a spare part available and will it fit in the routing of the wilkinson??

Thanx a lot

Could you check the date?? 96254 is the serial nr.

The pivot post holes do not line up, so they would have to be plugged, and new inserts installed. I am not sure, but I think that the only way we would sell a new bridge is to have the old one returned, so it seems to be a lot of trouble.

The DOB is 5/17/95

Jon: Thanks man you´re the best

Colin: Will get the guitar for service on tuesday, we´ll see what´s under the hood:rolleyes:

Seen the guitar yesterday, I have to say there is a lot of work coming.
Without an amp the guitar is very very good sounding, so it worth the money anyway.
Well the seller changed the Wilkinson trem and the PUs obviousely.
He made it like a Tom Anderson switching system where you can with one flick of a switch change the configuration of the SC to the HB and back and he made the HB splittable through the Pots wiper going to ground when you turn it.

The saddest part is that he drilled a second hole for an O/P Jack cause he wanted to install a piezo system.

But I will save this baby cause it´s a good one. ;)
My customer still has to think about what he wants to do. He took it back home and this week I know more.
