Yeah, that belongs to Rush. I recognize the pics from the Petrucci Forum. I also noticed an Blue Dawn on ebay lastnight that was gone within a matter of seconds!

Yep, Rush's guitar!
Rush got it - he told me "sorry, I couldn't resist it" .... that's ok, it was autographed on the back of the headstock, not something I would want to gig. Eventually I will find giggable BlueDawn JP6 #2....

That's ok. I was just about to click "buy it now" and it was gone! A few seconds later and that baby would have been delivered to my doorstep. I couldn't help but think what a nice companion that Blue Dawn would have made for my Carbon Blue. I would have been broke, but very happy.

Yep I snatched it up fast. The guy had a hell of a deal. $1475 shipped on that guitar was a steal IMO.
As far as the Silver Sparkle goes... I wouldn't have put it up for sale if I hadn't bought two other guitars very recently (one being the signed fully loaded Blue Dawn). I could start a collection like Ernie's, but the obsessive/compulsive need to be streamlined and simple would kill me after about 4.
The Silver Sparkle is beautiful and the neck on this particular guitar is just awesome. I love the wood colors and the way it has aged. Look at the pics, they don't lie. I didn't even get to play this one very much so it's basically brand new.
Whoever wins the auction is going to get a killer axe. I'm sure Dan and Jon here at EB would agree with me.

Congrats yourself on the Carbon Blue Pearl which is another great color. I would love to get some up close and personal pics of that axe for the gallery, so if you ever take some be sure to send them over! Sapphire Black is another beautiful blue color they have, and you can see the contrast between it and Envy Green in a few pics in the gallery.
