found a loverly bass on the internet on bass centeral blue dan hh sr5 however i feel i dont like the white scratch plate pick gaurd whatever you like to call it.how easy is it to get hold of a black one and fit it?is there any chance the shop would be able to fix it as i would be scared take a screw driver to such a loverly bass.would i have to order one and is this possable with me liveing in the uk?

The folks at Basscentral are very helpful and I'm sure if you ask them they will fit a different scratchplate for you before shipping.

Bear in mind that if it is brand new they won't be able to sell to anyone resident outside the USA though as you are expected to buy from a UK dealership.

BassCentral might even have a black pg in stock and can make a swap for you. Call them and find out.

will find out but what your saying isont be a problem.will be going out on 30th june cant wait.the color was pacific burst

That's weird, your Blue Dawn came with a white PG? I thought all the Blue Dawns including mine came with a BLACK PG. If you are wanting to switch yours out for a black one, we might be able to make a trade, or I might just buy yours. PM me.

i got the color wrong the bass im rpobs going to buy is pacific burst but hate the white pg!

I think there are no restrictions if you walk into the store and buy it, and he said he was going to be here at the end of June.

nail on the head.what pedals are worth getting whilst im out there mainly play heavyer stuff.

lukey,

if you can't get this sorted in the US, you can get one ordered through EB official UK online distributor - 'stringsandthings.co.uk'.

i've ordered a black pearl pickguard for my sterling through them. .....it should be crossing the pond at any moment. :D

karl

I'd recommed to get a SansAmp Programmabe Bass Driver D.I. Much lower retail in US than EU, and it's a pedal that can be useful in many different ways. YMMV.
