How long should it take to recieve the free strings offered when regisetring your new bass?

I registered mine a couple of months ago still nothing not even a email confirmation that my bass was registered (I don't even know If my registration was recorded) I don't feel too optimistic for the strings. Maybe I should register again via email rather than the internet form (probably didn't work)

I did it via internet, took about a week to receive my strings. I live in Toronto, Canada.

... it took abut 2-3 weeks for my strings to come in from registering online and I'm in Vancouver Canada (just N. of Seattle WA)

I registered a Stingray5 August 16 and still haven't revieved my strings. I also registered a 4 string Stingray this week, I hope these one's show up.
I Live in Winnipeg, not as lucky as the rest of you fellow canucks!

FYI. I registered a Musicman bass online in August 2002 and did not recieve any strings (Ottawa, Canada).

I registered my Stingray online, a few days after I bought it (almost two years ago) and I got my stings about 10 days after that. Not a bad deal.

I had never tried EB strings until I bought my 'Ray, and now I think they're one of the best sounding strings out there, along with Dean Markley Blue Steels.

I received my strings from the states five days (yes five days!) after registering - and I live in Tasmania, Australia.

Needless to say I was blown away by the service

How can I tell if the Sterling that I new bought from GC, has been registered already by someone else. When I first got my SR4, it had all the tags and paper work and recieved my new strings after I registered it, the Sterling didn't, so I wondering if it was new or someone traded it in. I registered the Sterling anyways online. Serial # F06381
