The frets of my SR5 seem to take alot of beeting despite the fact that I use stainless steel round wounds and play a fair amount of slap and pop. Does anyone know what kind of fret wire that's used on the Musicman basses?

The Fret material is called nickle silver.
Stainless Steel strings are more abusive
to the frets then the nickle round wound strings.
Thanks

Thanks Derek. I've considered moving to nickel for the reason you gave but I always return to steel to get that extra bite. I think the frets hold up pretty well anyway :) .
