I have decided to sell my "Custom" Silo to fund a new violin purchase. Here are the specs:

-It is Blue Sparkle painted by TDL Guitars
-New Pearloid pickguard
-Dimarzio Tone Zone (Bridge) & Dimarzio Air Norton (Neck)
-It is wired with a 3-way switch and the tone knob is setup with a Push/Pull knob for coil tapping.
-Fixed Bridge with graphite saddles
-Comes with Music Man hardshell case

The guitar is in excellent condition and plays great. I hate to part with it but I'm gonna have to let it go for the violin. Here is a link to some pics:

Dude, that is really nice. TDL did a great job I have heard about them, but never seen anything they've done besides what's on their website.

To bad you gotta let it go. Looks great. Your price is excellent too.

Yah know if that had the piezo I bet NorM would be all over this thing.

The only other things I would want would be a maple neck and a tremolo. That sparkle is eye catching and tempting.
 
I'm a few months away from getting in shape(the deal to let me buy a guitar). If had to make the choice now, I would probably be getting this. There's a new one that's available that's simular to yours. It has blue pearl with white pearl and looks great. If I was ready to buy new, I would probably get that.

Right now I'm on the fence about a trem. I've been a trem player all my life, but I'm a tremaholic. I have an addictive personallity with everything I do. I'm always whamming away. I notice I play so much better when I don't whammy. With other addictive things in my life, I can only get rid of them because I can't control it. Maybe it's time to ditch a trem.

Maybe if I suck in my stomach, push out my chest and waltz by the wife, she'll say I'm in shape and get a guitar :cool:

That' funny....I was a whammy guy for a while myself. Couldn't stop. Finally, I took the bar off the axe and began learning how to actually play the thing. I haven't put it back on since......1 1/2 years ago maybe. Once in a blue, I will, but not very often.

Nice axe you are selling. Hopefully someone here will take her off your hands. :cool:

Your post helped me out more than you know. I know that if I could leave the bar alone, I would become a better guitarist. I notice that if I play one without a bar and stick to it for a few days, I'm better moving around the board. I make my fretting hand work harder. I could go into my ADHD :eek: /whammy analysis, but I'll spare ya.
