i just wanted to let you guys know that i got a fulltone ocd pedal and it does live up to the hype. if you were thinking about getting one i dont think you will regret it. it really does sound like a cranked marshall and there is no compression or loss of eq range like with a tube screamer it is extremely dynamic. anyway im not here to spam it i just thought some of you might be interested.

I bought one and sold it within 3 days. Played it with my AL, a '62 tele RI, jazzmaster and a japanese 335 through a Top Hat and '62 Vibroverb RI. I found it to be very fizzy in it's decay. Sounds great if you're chugging along, but let a chord ring and after about a second it would start to oscillate and get fizzy.

I like Fulltone, I have a deluxe wah and supa trem more or less permanently on my board, but the OCD didn't do it for me. Right now I'm using a Red Snapper for OD, a SPF Greenline for more distortion.

Just my $.02.

i dont get any fizz. i wonder if its a single coil vs humbucker thing maybe. i can tell you this i use mine with my amp running dirty and then use the ocd to push it harder i run my amp at half on the pre and the ocd gain at half and it works really well for me. but i have also heard that the red snapper is really good.
