My G.A.S. list would include a couple of Schroeder Cabs, maybe 2 1210s, with a QSC amp and a good pre amp. I heard the Schroeder cabs at the TB DFW get together and they sound better than anything I've ever heard. They are also lightweight and compact.

I had the BBE Bmax. It's a great unit, and while my Fender Jazz sounded great through it, I couldn't live with the way my SR5 sounded.
It's a very quality piece of hardware - hands down. It's built very well, is easy to operate, and has literally TONS of headroom - if not to much.
If you're curious, you should definitely check one out for yourself. There's nothing wrong with this unit, as it's definitely a quality piece - I think the thing that I didn't like about it was it was very sterile or artificial sounding to me. But that's just MHO. You may love it!

If some of you recall, the one I sold was recently up on eBay. I tried to get it back, but I was outbid!
So I'm just waiting for that baby to come back to me! I should be getting my Bongo in a month or so, so that will surely help me pass the time until then! (Not that I'm considering the Bongo to be a temp bass until the StingRay returns! )
