Gig Spam: Dfw Area Members!!!

It was one hot mofo out there today. I don't know what the temp was but when I got in my MDX to go home, the outside temp read 100 degrees.

The gig went great though. Everybody complimented us on how good we sounded. I'll post some pics when I get them.

Sounds like a fun gig Larry. Normally at 4pm on a Friday I could have been there no sweat. But people where actually needing me to work today...on a Friday of all days...who knew?

Sorry, Larry, my in-laws arrived yesterday so we're busy getting them settled in and prodding them to buy a house.

Not that we don't love having them HERE.

I think we're booked for GrapeFest or some such thing in September - on the big stage! We must have gotten better since last year.

Not that we didn't love the gazebo.

Grapevine really does some cool stuff.

Plus Norah Jones is from there.

Now post some photos for those of us who were in the pool at 4 pm.

Here's the only pic I've received so far.

Somebody didn't get the memo about wearing jeans.

Glad to hear it was a good gig regardless of the heat.

I sure as hell hope I can wear shorts on the big stage.

Otherwise, um, you know, I'll wear jeans.

It's bloody HOT in Grapevine, am I right?

They didn't want to wear shorts! I decided that if I had to wear long pants it would be khakis. Much cooler.

It was so hot Friday that I got a little dizzy after we played. I think it got up to 97 degrees and that high was reached about the time we were on stage. And, as you can see, I'm on the sunny side of the stage.
