What's up MM people, I would like to know if u guys can tell me about the guitar I ordered october 20 in guitar center long island NY, u know ......what stage of manufacture is at...stuff like that.....cuz this wait is driving me insaaaaaaaaaneeeeeeee....
 
Hey buddy. Ummm they MOST likely did not even start making it yet and possibly wont for a little while. IT doesnt take them long to make them (I believe), it's just the whole deal of ordering one since they have to make many other ones as well. I called EB whole bunch of times to see the update on my Silo. 2 months after I ordered the guitar they havent started it yet, which was driving me crazy. Than I found out that a store in Brooklyn and Long Island (Royal Music) had basically the same guitar I wanted. I thought to myself SCREW this wait and was about to cancel the order at the store I ordered from. The guy called EB and they told him that it was basically done :D . SO it WAS a grueling 2 months that they didnt make it yet, and I was thinking it was going to take like 4-5 months. But lo and behold it came EARLY like 20 days before EXACTLY the 3 month period. I had the date of the 3 month mark on my calendar at work looking at it and biting my nails. Well anyway, that's my GOOD experience :D .

P.S. Dont forget those damn ear plugs!!! :D lol
 
Bro, just settle down, be happy that some cool Cali dude is painstakingly building a great guitar just for you.

My AL is due in about 3 weeks, and yes, we've got some pants-a-crappin here too, but we have to patient.

i am in the zombie section right now i swear to god even if this guitar is the most horrable gtr on the face of the earth i would never sell it just becouse i had to wait for 4 PAINFULL MONTHES (SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)..........

Hey New Guy..

Chill, bro! I think the consensus here is that it takes just about 3.5 months to get a newly-made EBMM. That can vary a bit depending upon what instruments are being made at any point in time, but it's a pretty good rule of thumb for US-based buyers.

My JP6 that I ordered last year took just about 3.5 months from order to delivery. And did I mention that it is perfect in every way? :)
 
i finally decided i was going to do it and i went to order my jp6
fully loaded mystic dream (i live in australia too)

and by some freak of nature there was one in stock (was going to be for a trade show)
and i was holding it in my hands 5 days later

Is this serious? If so I ordered a Tobacco Burst AL with MM-90's from Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center at the beginning of September.
