The guys at the store were amazed by the look and quality of the instrument. As soon as I opened the case, everybody gathered around and they kept telling me how nice the guitar was:cool: I think it made quite an impression on them:)

As for the playability, I just love this guitar. The neck is really nice and slick, it feels like glass. The upper fret access is better than on my Sport and I love the slightly flatter radius of the Luke. Oh and the tuning stability is just brilliant!

The bridge humbucker just screams with distortion on. I'm amazed how clear and crisp every notes are. The neck SC is simply brilliant on the clean channel.

I couldn't be happier of my purchase!

Congrats, amazing one you picked! Figure that a retailer near where I live told me just yesterday that "Luke guitars have no more the wood they use to have, they're cheap now...".
Nice to hear it's just an acid comment (even more as I will soon buy one, too).

Thanks! The gold hardware LE is amazing too... specially on the luke:)

The more I play with my new Luke the more I like it. At first I was a little thrown off by the V of the neck, but after about an hour of playing, it suddenly made perfect sense... it just fits very nicely in my palm:) This is truly a top notch instrument!
