Just wanted to say how nice it was to be able to meet up with some fine folks on this forum this weekend. It was supposed to be just Sedona and the Grand Canyon with my woman, but turned into lunch with BETH and JODI on the way to arizona, then meeting up with DWF, his lady and Rookie at some pizza place that had an open mike that night.
Then on sunday (after sedona) Norm, DWF and their ladies joined me and mine and her parents at some mexican place with lousy food and hardly anyone to watch me play a few tunes...except her PARENTS!
Then Monday was Satriani at the GC with Rookie and Norm and a friend of Norms.
Norm drove up from tucson twice in 2 days. How cool was that?
DWF can't thank yopu enough for hanging out.
Rookie it was great meeting you and having dinner twice. Seems like I've known you for years.
Beth and Jodi thanks for spending time and sharing so much laughter.
The tough decision was trying to decide if I should bother Sterling (not even sure if he was there thursday) but I decided I should probably not, but I REALLY wanted too.
So if you're reading this BP...
Thanks for building this community of good people that make traveling seem like always being able to visit with extended family.
