Noticed a big difference between the two..
Open A string

In this shot its the Bongo HH flat eq Both Hum-buckers open. However this is after the Gk preamp. [All flat 5 string switch in.]

This is the shot of the stingray EQ flat, after preamp, and 5string switch pushed in.

I really like the stringray for its funkier sound and I like the Bongo for its smoother sound, the closest I could get the stingray to the flatness of the bongo was to boost the bass all the way cut the treble all the way and turn down the volume to get it to this.

Which doesn't sound to great but graphically it looks the closest to the bongo..

Got pics of the Bongo with bridge pup soloed?

That, or a single H Bongo might get closer to the single pickup SR. The more amount of lows that you see with the Bongo is (I'm pretty sure) because of the neck pickup. Although, numbers and graphs are one thing - trust your ears. Interesting to see though, thanks for posting.

remember that its all relative, for each one I played over the bridge pickup, playing over the neck pickup changed it alot.. Here is the neck solo with flat eq through the same gk preamp.

Looks the same cept for the level. Interesting.

Seems very flat, however I haven't checked how the low B sounds with the bridge soloed, all I know is that with the bridge soloed the Low B is almost impossible to hear.

The B on the Stingray H looks just like a huge peak at around 80 hertz, it drops off very fast on both sides..

Ask if you want to see anything else, eq changes playing style changes ect, I have no job as of today and have nothing else to do..
