Looking for history on a MM stingray II with serial # G006794. I have seen a database for bass but not for guitar. Thanks.

arizonachoppers - since Ernie Ball didn't put these into production, there isn't much history on the old Leo-era Music Man guitars here at this site. I don't believe that EBMM has the old records; I'm pretty sure the bass info you are referring to was put together by players/collectors.

There is some good info on GGJaguar's site in the G&L Section (he collects G&Ls and Leo-era Music Man guitars): http://www.ggjaguar.com/gnl.htm

He writes for Vintage Guitar and hangs out on the G&L forum: http://www.guitarsbyleo.com

You might try looking for information over there.

EDIT: By the way, I believe the "II" means it has a 7.5" radius neck and a "I" would mean it has a 12" radius neck, but I could have that reversed.
