i'm putting together a signup list of guitar dudes who are going to get up & play.
we can use this post to JUST list your name & a list of songs you'd be comfy w/. 1 song.....20 songs...whatever you know thats ......i'll compile them to a common list. also include anyone you already know you want to play w. ..& we can go from there. we can create some sub bands !!!!

:D

ALSO.........it will help me alot later to compile the songlist if this thread is only used for signing up to play.......and indicate tunes. work out the details on another thread or pm or email.

when adding song suggestions...please just edit your initial post..instead of making multiple post on this thread. that way i can compile the songlist w/out losing my mind.....
thanks again..

I'm in for whatever. I got oodles of 'em but here are a few of the more fun ones.

Panama -VH
Casual Affair - Tonic
Long Way Down -GGD
Vertigo -U2
Plowed - Sponge
Surrender - Cheap Trick

I'm in Tommy.

An original composition, possibly with bass, possibly solo.

Either "Sacred Strings" or "Dreaming" (koogies fave in open G tuning)

I'd open the show if no one else is willing. ;)

Rockin in the free world
Red House
Still Got the Blues
Anything by KISS
or Cheap Trick

Able to sing and play on these, I hope!

GH, if you wanted to do Rockin in the Free World, I can help out on vocals and sing the 3rd verse or do somethin with KISS....

Bovine -
What's "Little Sister" & who's it by?
Only thing I can think of is
Little Sister don't you kiss me once or twice, say it's very nice and then you run?

That's it Petey - Elvis, I think it was at first.

Lotsa other people have covered it, of course.

And now so will I. Wanna play?

Sure count me in! :)
Time to learn it - Lemme find the song on my 'puter amongst the 13,433 songs I've got on here ;) (no joke, 65.96 gig)

Edit - found it, E A D? email me, man - lets get it down! [email protected]

Oldtoe,
Radar Love won't be a problem, let's do it! :D
Anyone else care to join in on guitar for this one? Oldtoe has the bass covered, I'll play one guitar - either rhythym or lead, don't matter none to me.....

Tommy,

Put us down for "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Alice Cooper.
Performed by me, Pete DuBaldo, and Randracula.

I'm in for hooking up with a guitarist on any of these rockers:

AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie,TNT,Walk All Over You,Sin City
Judas Priest - Breakin' The Law
KISS - Cold Gin
Tesla - Gettin' Better
Cult - King Contrary Man
Poison - Nothin' But A Good Time

Or anything else from the "setlist" page on my bands website (see sig)

Need a guitarist for any of the following:
Any Eve 6
Any STP/Velvet Revolver
Everlong/I'll Stick Around - Foo Fighters
Any Cheap Trick
Save A Horse - Big & Rich

For that matter... I'll pick up whatever you want... just email or PM me

here is a short list of songs I'm familiar with. I don't know if
anybody is willing to play alongside me (I'm far from a 'Steve Morse',
but I know how to play a bit), but I would gladly join some people on
stage (a lot of songs sound better with two guitars, you get my drift).
If the guitar parts are not too complicated and the singing is not at
'Child in time' pitch, I can always try to sing and play at the same
time, but that's not always a guarantee for good music you know .

Plush - Stone Temple Pilots
Alive - Pearl Jam
Bombtrack - Rage Against The Machine
Gimme all your lovin' - ZZ Top
Born to be wild - Steppenwolf (although we normally play it with a
lot more punch and gain)
Stuck in the middle with you - Jeff Healy Band version
Colorful - The Verve Pipe (from the Rockstar motion picture
soundtrack)
The Road - Tenacious D
Basket Case - Green Day
Are you gonna go my way - Lenny Kravitz
Creep - Radiohead
Here comes your man - The Pixies
I believe in a thing called love - The Darkness
Long cool woman in a black dress - The Hollies
Rockin' in the free world - Neil Young
Ride on - AC/DC (and other songs, Whole lotta rosie and such)
Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams
Sweet home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Walking by myself - Gary Moore
Black night - Deep Purple
Paper Plane - Status Quo
Caroline - Status Quo

There is a lot more, but these come to mind first. The only thing we
should agree on, is the key we want to play in I guess , the rest will
flow easily I hope/think.

So, Oddjob and Fuzzy Dustmite, if you want me in, I will gladly join on AC/DC and STP stuff. Foo fighters will also work I guess, but I'll need to practice that at home first then.

Cheers, Tom.
Voila, I'm always in for other songs too, they just have to be songs I
know or can easily learn. I don't have a lot of time to practice at the
moment.
