thanks for all of the great response guys, this is truly a great community here, unlike some forums that are only full of negativity, ridicule and criticism.

if anybody in the GTA is interested, we're playing Lee's Palace on July 18th, c'mon out and I'll buy you a pint!

cheers!

(Guitar x Tone) + Singer = Tremendous! At one point I thought that the slide had the same finish as the JP6 DDII, how cool would that be.

thanks again for the positive response, just received word that we made the top 25 finalists out of 1557 registrants for the Big Music Fest, Breaking Bands competition. the festival has some amazing talent playing this yea...so wonder who the celebrity judges will be next weekend when we play?

will be proudly sporting one of my JP6's, so Dargie II, Black Sugar or Olive Gold (with chrome tops)?

Somehow I missed this thread the first time around - thanks for bumping it as I just checked out the video and it's great.

Yup, slide on a JP is kinda off the beaten path, but I liked it a lot! :)

Nice! Break a leg.
Hopefully you guys can play a few shows on this side of the country soon.

been playing the DDII for a long time 5 years or so already (purchased from a fellow forum member), still the staple in my arsenal, it's like a swiss army knife. All of those years gigging and rehearsals consistently (been through 4 bands) and it's still yet to have a mark on it. there's testament to the quality of these instruments.

Love the slide, great guitar work..All very talented, and Michelle has a great voice..Pretty lady too..
Good luck with the Big Music Fest!
