I am so happy! Just been on MSN with my girlfriend (who lives in Virginia) and she has just bought a ticket to see me.. for 2 months! She has been here before but only for a week at a time. I am so pleased that we finally get to spend some quality time together! We will have the best Christmas and New Year ever! :D

I can justify this as EBMM related as she is the one who sends me my 'Balls from the USA to the UK! If it wasnt for her there would be no sparkle or R/Wood fingerboard hardtail Axis!

thats cool dude! and what a great time for here to come down at the holidays MY favorite time of year!!!!! im 36 and i still freakin LOVE Christmas! right on dude!

tim, sounds like me and you have a similar situation. glad to hear that you will be getting to spend some good time with her. gives me even more hope :)

All the best to you and your girlfriend, Tim! Poor lass, in the UK in the dead of winter.... brrr....:D

Two months off work.. you sure she isn't European? :D :D :D

Two months is plenty of time to get sick of each other!

Seriously, though.. I'm stoked for ya, Tim. What a great surprise! Remember, no pics.. no girlfriend!

Sadly not! I am a bit skint after 3 trips to the USA this year! And its tough! But she is very special!

And if you think you are a bit skint now, just wait :D :D :D

I can relate to your situation, I met my wife at a Kula Shaker gig in Chicago in '99, trouble was I was living in the UK and was only in the US for a weeks work. Many phone calls, emails and visits later she came over to the UK for a few months and ended up staying permanently!

Actually later this year she is going to be in the US for a couple of months visiting family, friends and a new nephew while I have to stay here and work :(

Tim

Can my Mum come and stay with you for Xmas and New Year as well please?

She doesn't eat much but she does talk a bit!:D

this is neat, i guess it is more common than i thought to have a special someone on the other side of the pond :)
