Happy new year everyone hope everyone was safe.
Had a gig tonight girlfriend got really drunk and also a bar brawl broke out so it ended early.
However unsafe my morse from serious damage cause the bar fight was Out of control. It went on for a good 45 minutes an also I had to deal with a puking girlfriend who coul barely walk . I don't drink so I was fine but I had to carry her to the cAr . Very interesting New Years gig what about you guys what's up with your New Years?
The weird thing the cops came but never went inside to stop the fight never seen that before , Tollie any idea why?

They absolutely should have gone into the bar. One time, I was the first police officer to a huge bar brawl. I went in alone and backed myself up against a large column in the center of the room to protect my back, just swinging my wooden nightstick in one hand and protecting my face from flying beer bottles with the other. It was like a movie. It took ten minutes before backup arrived, which is a very long time to be in a fight.

Yeah ,Happy New Year to all.I threw out my back, golfing,2 days ago..so New Year*s eve was a bust..WTF !.I have a sore back today,but my head is fine,for once.Bar fights are definitely to be avoided..ever notice that it*s usually started by some short pip squeak trying to sucker punch the biggest guy in the house?..then Shorty exits the place ASAP...glad your equipment survived..Take care,all.

As a member of the "Short pip squeak Society", I have to lodge a complaint that all Short Pip Squeaks start a fight and then leave.

Happy New Year's all. Glad you made it out ok with your girl. People simply act stupid drunk. There are cool ones and bad ones. The bad ones I hate the most. I stayed home with my wife and watched movies. Better safe than sorry. Just had that feeling something bad was gonna happen. lol

Had a big show last night myself, reportedly 1,500 tickets sold, but would estimate 1/3 that present - was pleasantly surprised how well behaved everyone was!!!

I played at gig at a local Moose Lodge. Hardly Radio City Music Hall, but it was near capacity and everyone was in excellent spirits. Played my Albert Lee and ended up in the Waffle House at 3am for a post gig de-brief!
