Have I missed the 2017 BFR announcement?

Perhaps AJ meant all those NAMM "back room" one-offs. Those were available to order at NAMM, and they will only make the qty that was ordered and then they're done. So those are limited runs.

I had the same thought when AJ posted that, but he wasn't explicit about it.
 
I've seen those great one-off's. I love them.
I was just hoping for a PDN because it covers almost every model. ;)
As I stated many times, I understand and respect MM's way of running their business but as an AL HH fan, I regret that only black and wallnut are offered.

PDN is basically being phased out and BFR will be fulfilling the role of PDN. We should have all the assets we need for announcements by August, I will try to get something to show you guys once the weekend is over.

Told them I was happy to carry the demo model home and save Sterling a dollar on shipping, but I think the dude who had his name on the headstock got the one they were showing off? :)

On those hands - I have a medium-sized fortune in invested in those... there's a dozen on the walls of the master bedroom even.
