Hi...I recently popped the seventh string of my f-207 (esp) due to the fact that I just found my whammy bar and am using it. I have several questions...If I'm now using my whammy bar alot more what type of string would be more durable for the playing, heavy or light? Also..I have about three springs in the back hooked up to the floyd rose (tremolo system), and I want the whammy bar to be less resistant. When I remove one of the springs, the whole tremolo is stretched upward. Any solutions or other ways of receding tremolo resistance? Thanks.
