i'm new to this forum, i just purchased a ernie ball EVH musicman yesterday! It is a really sweet axe! I was wondering if there is anyone here that could give me the production date of my guitar?

hey all you EB EVH owners.......do the EB cases fit these guitars very well?? the case that i got with the guitar doesn't have any ernie ball writing on it anywhere, i was wondering if it is the original case. i would post a pic...i haven't figured out how to do that yet!!!

Forgot to mention in the email that EBMM did sell EVH guitars at first with the G&G hardshells (I believe that it was standard rigging, but Jon will correct me if I'm wrong).

When they stopped, I can't recall; I want to say that it was when they changed it to the Axis. I'll pass that along to Jon, and he can get you that info on Monday.

And, yeah, we'd like to see some more intimate pics than that (just no nudity or weird acts LOL!) Snap 'em like you were gonna sell it!

i'll get more pics out as soon as i figure out the rules around here.....

i bought it from a music store in Penn. it was purchased from the estate of a millionaire in NYC. he was a music nut, i guess...this guitar was part of his collection.

it is in need of a big-time set-up!!! it has sat for a while!!

i'm having the top professionally clear coated to protect the signature.

i paid $2400 for it.....i don't think i did too bad on it. it is virtually unplayed, the string were all rusted. it was dirty and nasty, but the sig is in good shape. he signed it with a gold paint pen (the sig is thick, you can run your finger across it and feel the relief of his signature)

after the sig is sealed......it's rock n roll time baby!!!!

i cant wait to hear it!!! i tried to plug it in today, but all strings are buzzing soooooo bad!!! i'm gonna let my guitar guy work his magic on it after he does the clear coat!!

That case looks like the same one I got with my EVH. It doesn't have EBMM on it anywhere either. Mine fits perfectly in the case...
