Hello...New to the Forum and Musicman Basses

Actually I post under "OK, so kick me"...no one did really...not for the bass anyway...but as expected not many compliments either. I repair Fender amps so I guess they were giving my a break, who knows.

I like fender basses...but the only one that comes close to this one (in tone and neck)is the Fender American Deluxe Zone bass. I had the MIM version. It sounded good but this is much better in the quality/workmanship area.
Anyway, I am happy here. I traded a beloved Gretsch Tennessee Rose in on it along with the Zone bass and took a hit in doing profit wise but I paid not one cent extra which is what I was for. The more I look at, play and make adjustments the more I am in awe of the engineering that went into making this bass. Pickup adjustment Screws that seem to float in lubrication they turn so easy.
And, I am told the trussrod turns with say just a nail very easily. Is this true?

Gary
