I am thinking of buying a used Musicman EVH guitar. The seller told me that the tremolo bar does not come out. Is that true??? Or is it broken??

thanks!

That is true - I think there is a little set screw on the collar that you have to undo.

hey guys, to get the tremelo arm off remove the plate on the guitar back and look where the trem arm comes into the bridge. there is a small allen set screw (metric) that you can tighten or loosen to adjust the movement of the arm. take out the screw completely and the arm is free to be removed. hope that does it for you.

This is good to know since the guy at guitar center told me I could just yank it out.

its a good thing you read this then, the dude at guitar center is deffinitly mis-informed to say the least. lol he's prolly never even been in the same room as an EB before that day.

Thanks for the info. That's exactly what I've been wondering since I picked up my Sillouhette a week ago.
By the way, Hi y'alls! I'm new here.:D
