somebody please tell me how to post pictures on here so i can see if my guitar is blue dawn.

Looks like Blue Dawn to me. We only have had 2 colors that your bass could be. If ithas sparkles in the paint, it's Blue Dawn. If it is a tranlucent color, it's Pacific Blue Burst, but from the pic it looks like Blue Dawn. Hope that helps, but if not, post the serial number and we can make sure.
