I'm interested in buying EBMM Silo from 1989. I asked the seller about pickups and mods done to the guitar; he sent me this picture. It's obvious that the guitar has been modified (shielding, japanese tone pot, push/pull volume pot), but my main question is about pickups: since the seller doesn't know whether they were changed, is there a way to tell if they are original pups from 80s? I know that it's hard to identify pups by just looking at the picture, but maybe some of you guys can tell me something; I know the wire colors are kinda strange (from what I know they should be either red/black or red/white). Appraciate any kind of info, cheers!
